Soilgard is a product whose active ingredient is chlamydospores of the
parasitic fungus Trichoderma virens (formerly Gliocladium virens) GL 21.
It acts in four ways to eradicate and control major soil diseases:
parasitism, antibiosis, competition, and exclusion.
